As soon as we’re in his car,he blurted “so,what are we going to do with the vampire boy?”


Oh shit.

When I looked-I tried not to stare-at him,his crooked smile seems to be mocking me.

“uh..lets find out how he managed to end up here instead,” I tried my best not to grimace.

He thought about it for a while and say “yeah,sure,”

While he was driving, it gives me time to think why the hell did I agreed to hunt this new ‘vampire boy’ in our school. I think hes just fine.hes even hot. Yeah,way too hot. And I think hes a vegetarian. So,its going to be fine right, man,it has to be fine. The truth is, I don’t want to be involved in this kind of things ever again. But the problem is, gabbe’s absurd enthusiasm about this stupid-he called it ‘supernatural paranormal’-stuff is dragging me along and I hate it. Eventhough it meant that I could hang out with him a little longer than necessary after school. Hmmph. I guess ill just have to endure it and pray so that this thing ends quickly.

It all started when I saw that vampire dude-I don’t even know his name- in the woods,he was feeding on a small deer. He was flabbergasted and I could sense that he was fighting with himself whether or not to explain everything to me. Or maybe just eat me. The thing is, I knew. And I thought what he was doing is okay compared to what I’ve been through for the past 16 years. Its just, normal-for a vampire I mean,-to feed so I just went passed him to go to my secret sanctuary. I found it two days before and it was a small meadow surrounded by azalea bushes. I fell in love at the first sight of it. Unfortunately, the dude was well,I don’t really know what he felt,really, and he grabbed my arm the minute I walked beside him.

“whattehell are you doing here?” he tighten his grip. Man,that hurts. “and whatteheck do you think youre doing? Let me go,” I jerked my arm free. A normal boy would’ve stumbled if I push pass them but he just remain there, as if untouched. On a second thought, hes not normal, yeah. I had to strain my neck to stare at him. He just look at me with a blank expression. “ aren’t you going to faint or something, or maybe scream because they usually scream.” Huh. Me, screaming at the sight of a vampire feeding on a deer, come on. “lets say,ive seen worse,” I studied my now red arm and muttered “its going to leave a bruise,”

I don’t even want to see his face, okayyy, maybe this dude is new. “wait, you mean you know about this?” he waved his hand infront of him.

“hey,I don’t want to talk about this. Im just going to pretend I don’t see anything, and you just pretend I don’t exist, okay?” I told him. “and just continue whatever youre doing just now,” I looked at the liveless deer.

Suddenly,out of nowhere, Gabbe appeared and stab the vampire dude’s arm with a pencil and drag me away. “run!” he yelled.

Wait, wait. Oh. He saw him feeding. Maybe he thought-ofcourse he thought- im a victim.
